As the sun sets, witness the spectacular nightly emergence of approximately 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats from beneath the Congress Avenue Bridge. You’ll have front-row seats to watch this remarkable natural phenomenon as the bats take flight in search of nearly 30,000 pounds of insects. Along the way, relax on the lake while your captain shares the history of Austin and its world-famous bat colony.
